*In the morning: Pick up from the hotel at 8:30 am, then heading to purchase the ticket for Kulen Mountain National Resort. First stop at the traditional village and visit villagers produce palm sugar and palm cakes. Along the way to Kulen Mountain, you will see spectacular countryside with rice paddy fields dotted with sugar palm trees and animals. At the Kulen Mountain park, you can enjoy a combination of natural beauty and Cambodia culture in relaxing atmosphere. It is the place where in the year 802 Jayavarman II was crowned as Devaraja (God King) and announced the independence from Java. Cambodia as we know it today was born. What we can see at the mountain are the beautiful waterfalls, thousand of Linga carvings along the riverbed, Preah Ang Thom ( Giant reclining Buddha statue), and footprint of Buddha. Then take a break for lunch at local restaurant.
*In the Afternoon: After lunch, continue to explore Tole Sap Lake, which is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Seeing what is the real life like for residents of flooded village at Campong Phluk fishing community and taking local cultural boat rides, visiting houses are built on stilts of around 7 meters high. Here you will see real mangrove.
End of the day, you will be dropped off back at your hotel in Siem.
